Instructions:
1. Prepare the Beef:
- Season the beef strips with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the beef strips in batches, cooking for 2-3 minutes until browned on all sides. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
2. Sauté the Vegetables:
- In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for another 1 minute.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they release their juices and begin to brown, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Make the Sauce:
